DELICIOUS 3-FLAVOR SEMIFREDDO – easy and creamy recipe

A simple dessert today to store in the freezer and even more delightful for the fast-approaching summer season: delicious 3-flavor semifreddo.

A semifreddo a layered frozen block for a simple spoon dessert suitable to close a dinner but also a lunch, and perfect for those who are very busy every day because it can be made in advance since it can be stored in the freezer and taken out at least half an hour before consumption, and I assure you it’s so, so good!

Delicious 3-flavor semifreddo

Ingredients DELICIOUS 3-FLAVOR SEMIFREDDO

  • 2 1/2 cups Fresh liquid cream
  • 1 pod vanilla
  • 4 1/4 oz strawberries (+ more for decoration)
  • 3 1/2 tbsps Sugar
  • 2 1/2 oz Dark chocolate
  • 3 1/2 oz Powdered sugar

Preparation DELICIOUS 3-FLAVOR SEMIFREDDO

  • For the layered homemade semifreddo dessert melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring a couple of times to keep it smooth.

  • Let it cool while stirring with a spoon to keep it fluid and homogeneous.

    Wash and cut the strawberries into pieces and make a coarse puree, also adding the granulated sugar.

  • In a bowl chilled from the fridge, and using cold beaters as well, beat the fresh liquid cream until it starts to become fluffy, then add the powdered sugar.

  • Divide the cream into 3 parts, placing them in 3 different containers.

    To one part, add the cold and fluid dark chocolate, mixing it all together.

  • To complete the 3-flavor semifreddo, take a loaf pan and line it with plastic wrap.

    Pour the dark chocolate flavored whipped cream at the bottom and place the container in the freezer for about ten minutes.

  • To the second part of sweetened whipped cream, add the seeds of half a vanilla pod, mixing to even out the flavor.

  • Take the mold and pour the vanilla and cream part, and put it back in the freezer for a few minutes to set everything.

  • Take out the loaf pan again with the two parts of 3-flavor semifreddo simple recipe, and mix the coarse strawberry puree with the third and last part of whipped cream.

  • Pour this mixture again over the creamy 3-layer semifreddo, and for the last time, put it back in the freezer until it’s time to enjoy it at the table.

  • At the right moment, take the frozen charlotte dessert and unmold it onto the serving plate.

  • Decorate it according to your taste: I added strands of warm chocolate cream and half washed and ripe strawberries.

  • Finally, I sprinkled with powdered sugar and voila…enjoy your meal and happy cooking with the delicious 3-flavor semifreddo!
