  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 7 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • water
  • 3/4 cup hazelnuts finely ground into flour

Steps for Soft Chocolate and Hazelnut Cookies

  • To make these delicious soft chocolate cookies, first prepare the dough. Melt the chopped dark chocolate and butter in a double boiler in a small pot. Let it cool for a few minutes. In a bowl, beat the powdered sugar with the eggs using a whisk until they become pale, then add the melted dark chocolate and mix carefully. Finally, add the flour, salt, and baking powder, and mix thoroughly to obtain a soft and homogeneous mixture. Transfer the dough to the fridge for 30 minutes.

  • Take the dough from the fridge and break off small amounts with your hands, about 1 oz each, and form into balls. Pour some water into one bowl and the ground hazelnuts into another. Roll the balls first in the water and then in the hazelnut flour so that they are completely covered. Place each cookie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart. Bake in a preheated static oven at 338°F for 15-20 minutes.
