Nutella©️ Ravioli

Still in the spirit of Carnival, this afternoon for a snack I prepared these soft and delicious Nutella ravioli, a sweet treat that is always enjoyed not only during this time of the year I’d add hehe!!! 

The dough is very soft and unique due to the addition of dry amaretti and the Nutella, well you better not talk about it…

Clearly, if you prefer, you can fill them with another chocolate cream or perhaps jam, but let’s head to the kitchen to fry them eh eh!!

Nutella Ravioli

RICETTA NUTELLA RAVIOLI INGREDIENTS

  • 3 3/4 cups Flour
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1.8 oz dry amaretti (finely crushed)
  • 6 tablespoons white wine
  • to taste Lemon zest (untreated)
  • to taste Nutella (or other chocolate hazelnut spread)
  • to taste Powdered sugar

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, the sugar, the finely crushed amaretti, the eggs, the wine, and the grated lemon zest.

    Mix well and divide it into 3/4 parts.

  • Take one part and on a floured board with a rolling pin, roll it out to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

  • With a cutter (mine is 2 3/4 inches in diameter) cut out the discs.

  • Fill them with the Nutella placed conveniently in a piping bag.

  • Close the Nutella ravioli by barely wetting the edges to seal them well and continue until the prepared dough is finished.

  • Fry them in plenty of seed oil, dust them with powdered sugar, and bring them to the table!
