Pomegranate Spritz

This year I fell in love with pomegranates and have used them in all sorts of ways…in the kitchen, of course, creating many delicious little recipes! After tasty first courses, seconds, and salads, here is a delicious pomegranate spritz aperitif!

The classic spritz with Aperol (or Campari for those with stronger stomachs than mine) and bubbles is something I really enjoy, and if I happen to be out with friends during aperitif time, it is definitely my favorite.

The small variation with pomegranate juice is equally pleasant, and just to indulge, I thought it would be nice to rim the glasses with granulated sugar, a practice from the past…my past, that is, hehe!
I would say this FRUIT SPRITZ is a great way to start the meal, so follow me as we begin …

#ADV

  • Vegetable Peeler
  • Boston Shaker
  • Stir Sticks cocktail stirrer

Preparation Recipe Pomegranate Spritz

  • For the POMEGRANATE SPRITZ, remove the pomegranate peel and extract the seeds, perhaps using disposable gloves to avoid staining your fingers.

  • Put the pomegranate juice and prosecco in a pitcher and after mixing well, pour into the glasses that you may have, deliciously rimmed with sugar.

  • To better adhere the sugar, I recommend two options: wet the rims with water or with lemon juice… Pour the pomegranate spritz and cheers… Wishing you all the best and have a great day!
