Ingredients for PASTA WITH SAUSAGE, ARUGULA, AND CHERRY TOMATOES

  • 11 oz short pasta
  • 7 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 6 oz sausage
  • 1 bunch arugula
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 onion
  • to taste dry white wine
  • to taste Parmesan cheese

To sauté the pasta, I’ve been using a pan I purchased some time ago and I’m very happy with it.

because it’s solid, quite heavy, and I believe the cost is suitable for its characteristics! We can sauté pasta and the sauce but also prepare scallops, a stew, basically I use it for everything and it’s perfect for me!

Preparation of Pasta with Sausage, Arugula, and Cherry Tomatoes

  • Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a large pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil until soft. Add the crumbled sausage and let it cook for a few minutes.

  • Once it is well-browned, pour in the wine and let the alcohol evaporate. Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to boil for cooking the pasta.

  • Add the washed and halved cherry tomatoes to the sausage. Cook the sauce for 3-4 minutes, just enough time to blend the flavors. Cook the pasta until al dente.

  • Transfer it to the pan with the onion, sausage, and cherry tomatoes. Add the washed arugula, roughly chopped, and the necessary amount of extra virgin olive oil.

  • Mix everything well, adjusting the salt. Add grated Parmesan cheese if you like, and toss the pasta again. Serve up the plates and enjoy the pasta with sausage, arugula, and cherry tomatoes!
