Ingredients for CREAMY TARTLETS RECIPES

  • 2 cups shortcrust pastry
  • 6 oz mascarpone
  • 2 tbsps sugar
  • 1 espresso coffee
  • to taste golden chocolate flakes (Decorate)

Preparation for CREAMY TARTLETS RECIPES

  • Prepare the shortcrust pastry as written in the recipe indicated above or unroll the ready-made shortcrust pastry.

  • Line the chosen molds with butter and flour and the shortcrust pastry.

    Fill the cavity with parchment paper and dried beans. Bake the creamy tartlets at 356°F for about 15/20 minutes or until golden.

  • In the meantime, prepare the cream for the filling by working the mascarpone with coffee and sugar.

  • Remove the tartlets as soon as baked and let them cool, removing paper and beans.

  • With the help of a pastry bag, fill the cavity with the mascarpone cream and, if desired, add some decorative flake granules. Here is a crunchy and delicious dessert with creamy tartlets!

Tips and Notes

These creamy tartlets belong to what is known as small pastries, or better known as petit four (little oven) by the French, which defines those small pastries usually consumed at the end of a meal with two variants: dry and savory.

Among the sweet ones are cookies to meringues to tartlets to puff pastries, in short, a world of sweetness and delicacy. Among the savory ones are the classic canapés prepared for buffets and appetizers with savory mousses and dips.
