The peaches are flooding the supermarket fruit stands and their scent is intoxicating! They are a delicious fruit with which to prepare excellent sweet recipes but also salads like the recipe of shrimp and peach salad you can find on my blog. The quick peach tart is a very quick cake with puff pastry and many peach slices placed on top of a crumbled dry biscuits, plain yogurt and peach jam, truly delicious!


With this quick puff pastry base you can prepare a quick tart with apricots and plums maintaining the yogurt for the cream but varying the jam… apricot and plum as needed!

Personally, I used a square mold 8 x 8 inches but follow me as we prepare the quick peach tart recipe

Ingredients QUICK PEACH TART RECIPE

  • 1 roll Puff pastry
  • 5.3 oz Dry biscuits
  • 3 firm peaches
  • 4.4 oz plain yogurt
  • 3 tbsp peach jam
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp peach jam
  • as needed Powdered sugar

Preparation QUICK PEACH TART RECIPE

  • Unroll the puff pastry placing it with the protective parchment paper in the chosen mold.

    In a bowl, combine the crumbled biscuits, creamy plain yogurt and peach jam.

    Also add the vanilla extract mixing everything together.

  • Spread this mixture on the puff pastry base of the quick peach tart, leveling it well.

    Place on top of this “sweet cream” the thin slices of washed and dried peaches.

    Fold the edges of the quick peach tart finishing it with the leftover puff pastry.

  • Brush the peaches with the peach jam diluted in a little warm water.

     Sprinkle the surface with brown sugar.

     

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 40 minutes.

    Once cooked, let the quick peach tart cool.

  • Unmold and sprinkle the tart with powdered sugar and serve at the table.

    Enjoy the recipe of the quick peach tart, a delicious dessert that smells like summer.
