A new easy apple recipe very simple with the fruit placed directly on top and a dusting of powdered sugar… yes, yes, yes, you know I’m obsessed lol!
easy apple cake

The apple cake is a timeless classic, always good for any time of the day, perfect even for a kids’ snack! This time I used Granny Smith instead of my favorite Golden Delicious for a more tangy taste, but as always the final choice is yours depending on your taste preferences.

Apples are a fruit full of benefits for the numerous nutritional and curative properties, and you can find them all year round at fruit stands and supermarkets. Apples contain, like other fruits, fibers and substances with antioxidant activity that protect our body from those pesky free radicals. They have a draining effect on the respiratory tract and tone the bronchi.

And as they say, an apple a day keeps the doctor away… but let’s head to the kitchen to prepare the easy apple cake!
