Hello friends, today I am proposing this delicious soft tart, a base recipe to use and fill with any cream or filling. This is a really clever idea that replaces the classic shortcrust tart. You will only and exclusively need the famous clever mold to make it. Below you will find the recipe..
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Economical
- Portions: For 6 people
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients for the Soft Tart
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup sunflower seed oil
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 pinch fine salt
Tools
- 1 Bowl
- Electric whisks
- 1 Clever mold
Steps for the Soft Tart
To make this delicious soft tart, beat the eggs with the granulated sugar in a bowl using an electric whisk until you get a fluffy mixture, it will take about 10 minutes. Add the vanilla essence, sunflower seed oil, room temperature milk, and mix carefully. Combine the sifted all-purpose flour, a pinch of salt, and the sifted baking powder, and mix well. Grease and flour a 10-inch tart pan (clever mold) and pour the batter. Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 25-30 minutes. Do the toothpick test, turn off and allow to cool.
Turn the soft tart upside down on a serving plate and use it, just fill the base with any cream. I hope you like this latest recipe of mine, until next time friends.
STORAGE, TIPS, AND NOTES
The soft tart can be prepared in advance and stored for up to two days. If you wish, you can replace sunflower seed oil with butter. If you don’t like the vanilla version, you can remove 1/4 cup of flour and add cocoa powder.
