Steps for Soft Nutella Cookies
To make these fantastic soft cookies, you need to make the shortcrust pastry. In a bowl, mix with a hand whisk the eggs with the granulated sugar and vanilla. Pour in the previously melted butter and mix thoroughly. Finally, add the all-purpose flour, potato starch, salt, and baking powder, and knead with a spatula to obtain a soft and homogeneous dough. Place the dough in the refrigerator to rest for a couple of hours.
Break off small amounts of dough with your hands, about 1 oz each, and form balls. Roll them in a deep plate with powdered sugar so that they are completely covered. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and, with the help of a small sieve, press each ball to create a groove. Place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Turn off the oven, remove, and let cool completely without touching them.
And here they are, the soft Nutella cookies are ready. I hope you like my latest recipe, see you next time, friends.
STORAGE, TIPS AND NOTES
Soft Nutella cookies can be stored in airtight or tin containers for a few days. Melted butter can be replaced with sunflower oil.
