Steps for trofie with champignon mushrooms and bacon
To make these delicious trofie with champignon mushrooms and bacon, you first need to prepare the sautéed mushrooms. Clean the champignon mushrooms, removing any traces of soil, and rinse them quickly under running water only if necessary, or use a damp cloth. Slice them. In a pan, add the butter and the previously cleaned garlic clove (if you prefer, you can use it unpeeled) and when melted, add the mushrooms and sauté for a few minutes. Finally, add the salt and ground pepper and cook for about 10-15 minutes with the lid on; if necessary, add a splash of water. A few minutes before the end, add chopped parsley and remove the garlic. Turn off the heat and set aside. In another pan, fry the bacon for a few minutes until crispy. Meanwhile, cook the trofie in a saucepan with plenty of salted hot water according to the cooking time indicated on the package. Drain the pasta and transfer the trofie to the pan, also adding the bacon and a ladle of pasta cooking water, and mix carefully. Finally, add grated Parmesan cheese and cream cheese, creating a delicious creamy sauce.
Plate the trofie with champignon mushrooms and bacon and sprinkle chopped parsley on top. Serve at the table. I hope you enjoy this latest recipe of mine, see you next time, friends.
STORAGE, TIPS AND NOTES
Fresh mushrooms can be replaced with frozen or dried mushrooms. Cream cheese spread can be replaced with cooking cream, and bacon with cooked ham or speck.
