Ingredients for Peanut Butter Cookies
- 8 tbsp Melted Butter
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 7 tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1 Egg
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Fine Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (Or 1 sachet of vanillin)
- 3/4 cup Chocolate Chips

Steps for Peanut Butter Cookies
To make these peanut butter cookies, you first need to prepare the dough. You can either mix everything in a bowl or use a kitchen robot. In the bowl, whisk the egg with both sugars and the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or bain-marie and add it once it has cooled to the egg mixture and mix. Also add the peanut butter. Then add the sifted flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix again using a spatula or your hands for a few minutes to obtain a homogeneous dough. Finally, add the chocolate chips and incorporate them well. Place the dough in the fridge to set for about half an hour.
Then form small balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Flatten the surface of the cookies with your hands as in the photo, and bake in a preheated static oven for about 10/15 minutes at 350°F. Turn off, remove from the oven, and let cool. I made a total of 12-15 cookies; of course, it always depends on the size you give to the dough balls.
