- 7 oz pasta
- 6 sun-dried tomatoes
- 10 leaves basil
- 2.5 oz smoked bacon
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- extra virgin olive oil

Steps
To prepare the pasta with sun-dried tomato and basil cream, start by cooking your preferred pasta shape in plenty of boiling salted water, following the cooking times indicated on the package. While the pasta is cooking, take a blender and add the sun-dried tomatoes, previously washed and dried basil leaves, and a generous drizzle of olive oil. Blend everything until you reach a pesto-like consistency. Now, place a pan on the heat and add the diced smoked bacon. Season with a pinch of salt and, as soon as it starts to release fat, let it brown for a couple of minutes over high heat, stirring occasionally. Once browned, add the tomato and basil cream. Also, pour the cream into the pan. Mix well to combine everything. Adjust the salt and add half a ladle of pasta cooking water. Stir once more and turn off the heat.
Once the pasta is ready, drain it and add it to the pan. Mix everything well.
