Today’s recipe is not one of our own, but it comes from the talented Cinzia from the Instagram page ℂ𝕚𝕟𝕫𝕚𝕒 🏋️♀️Fit&Food🥞, to whom I am truly grateful for her availability.
Some time ago I tried her coconut fit yo-bomb: not so much for the content, but for the image of that snow-capped dome that immediately captivated me. It is indeed a refreshing, light, and tasty yogurt dome, perfect for breakfasts and snacks.
And what can I say? It has now become one of my favorites!
So I asked Cinzia for permission to share the recipe with you, and here it is.

Ingredients for the Yo-Bomb
- 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cookie
- as needed coffee
- as needed shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon hazelnut protein spread
Tools
- Mug
- Plastic wrap
Preparation of the Yo-Bomb
Mix the Greek yogurt with the shredded coconut in a bowl.
Take a mug and line it with plastic wrap, leaving a couple of inches of wrap outside the edges to seal the yo-bomb later.
Pour half of the yogurt and coconut mixture into the mug, leveling it well.
Dip a cookie of your choice in coffee and place it on top of the yogurt layer. Spread a tablespoon of hazelnut cream over the yogurt before placing the cookie, as a personal variation.
Cover with the remaining yogurt and level the surface.
Close the wrap over the mug and put it in the refrigerator to set.
About 10 minutes before serving, transfer the mug to the freezer to firm up the yo-bomb a little.
Take the mug out of the freezer and remove the wrap-covered ball. Gently remove the wrap and turn the yo-bomb onto a small plate, placing it flat side down.
Sprinkle with a little shredded coconut and serve.
Advice
If you want to consume the yo-bomb immediately, you can skip the fridge resting and put it directly in the freezer for about 10 minutes to achieve the perfect consistency.
Feel free to vary the topping and filling as you like: you can use fresh fruit, chopped hazelnuts, dark chocolate flakes, or any other ingredient that inspires you.
