Ingredients for Banana and Peanut Butter Air Fryer Cookies:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 150 g protein peanut butter
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 100 g whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 50 g chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps for Preparing and Cooking Banana and Peanut Butter Air Fryer Cookies:

  • Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds with a knife, then place them in a large bowl and mash them well with a fork to obtain a puree.

    Add the protein peanut butter and mix well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

  • Incorporate the brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon (you can also omit it if you don’t like the flavor), mix the ingredients well, then add the whole wheat flour and sifted baking powder and a pinch of salt, mix well and incorporate the chocolate chips. Work the ingredients until you have a homogeneous mixture.

  • Take portions of dough (about 1 tablespoon), with damp hands shape them into rounds and place them on the air fryer rack previously lined with baking paper, slightly flatten the surface with the back of a spoon. The dough is very soft, if you prefer you can also not form the cookies but place spoonfuls of dough slightly apart from each other and then level the surface with the back of the spoon.

  • Bake at 320°F for about ten minutes, they should be golden.

    Allow the soft banana and peanut butter air fryer cookies to cool on a rack before consuming them.

For the cookie sizes, you get 12/15 using 1 tablespoon of dough per cookie, 18/20 if you make small cookies of about 0.7 oz, or 8/10 if you make cookies like cookies of 1.1/1.4 oz.
