How to Preserve Herbs All Year Round, the Foolproof Method. Ingredients:

  • 3.5 oz parsley (to weigh after removing discarded parts)
  • 16 cloves red garlic
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil

How to Preserve Herbs All Year Round, the Foolproof Method! Procedure:

  • Remove the parsley from the discarded parts, weigh out 3.5 oz, wash it and dry it very well with paper towels, place it in the chopper.

  • Now clean the garlic cloves from the discarded parts, add them to the chopper and chop for a maximum of 2/3 minutes, then remove the blades from the chopper and mix the obtained mixture with a spoon.

  • Put a little of the chopped herbs in each mold of the ice cube tray until the mixture is finished, then fill each cube with extra virgin olive oil.

  • Put the lid on the ice molds and place in the freezer. Once completely frozen, transfer the cubes to a freezer bag and store in the freezer, so you will have fresh and fragrant aromas available all year round!

Advice

To flavor your dishes (first courses, second courses, vegetables) simply melt one or two frozen herb cubes in the pan, you’ll taste the goodness!

You can replace parsley with basil or any other herb of your choice, as long as you respect the weight of 3.5 oz.
