Brownie Cake, is a delicious chocolate cake typical of the American tradition; it is a cake cut into squares based on dark chocolate, cocoa, butter, eggs, brown sugar, and flour. A cake with a soft and tender consistency inside and a crunchy crust that literally melts in your mouth.
It is a very quick preparation, just melt the chocolate with the butter and separately whip the eggs with the sugar, in a few minutes everything is mixed in a bowl and poured into a pan.

- 5.3 oz dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 0.6 cup flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps
Let’s start preparing
Let’s start preparing the brownie cake, combine in a bowl the butter and 3.5 oz of dark chocolate and melt in the microwave.
In another bowl, mix thoroughly with a hand whisk the eggs with the sugar until a light mixture is obtained, add salt and vanilla.
Combine the chocolate and butter with the egg and sugar mixture and mix everything.
Add the flour, cocoa, and half a teaspoon of baking powder by sifting them in two stages, mixing each time with a spatula from bottom to top.
Then pour into a 7 x 7-inch pan previously lined with baking paper.Add on top the remaining 1.8 oz of dark chocolate broken into pieces. Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Always do the toothpick test to check doneness.
