Easy apple pie to make with lots of apples put directly into the batter. Apple pie is a well-known classic dessert. There are many variations of apple pie, each one better than the last. The recipe I propose today is very simple and is the one we have always made in my family.

Ingredients for Easy Apple Pie
- 4 apples (700-800 g)
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsps baking powder (1/2 packet)
- 1/2 lemon (zest)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 lemon (juice)
- as needed powdered sugar

How to Prepare the Easy APPLE PIE
Peel the apples, remove the core, slice them, and place them in a bowl full of water with the juice of half a lemon.
Melt the butter in a bain-marie or in the microwave and let it cool.
Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan. Alternatively, you can line it with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 356°F static or 320°F fan.
Using an electric mixer, beat the eggs, sugar, and a pinch of salt until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the melted butter, grated lemon zest, and mix for a few moments.
Add the sifted flour and baking powder, and continue to mix with the beaters for a few minutes.
Finally, drain the apples and add them to the batter; mix well with a spoon or spatula.
Pour everything into the prepared pan and level the surface with the back of a spoon.
Bake in the preheated oven at 356°F static, or 320°F fan, for about 50 minutes.
Once cooked, leave the cake in the turned-off oven with the door slightly open for about 10 minutes.
Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool slightly, then remove it from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack.
Before serving the apple pie, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.

Notes
You can add a few pinches of cinnamon powder or a packet of vanilla extract to the batter.
The apple pie can be kept for 3-4 days at room temperature in a container.
