- Ladle
- Pot
Preparation of Quick Anchovy Linguine
Take a pot, fill it with water and bring it to a boil.
Meanwhile, take a skillet, add the chili, basil, and butter, and melt it over moderate heat.
Add the drained anchovies to the skillet and let them melt with a ladle of boiling water.
Add the linguine to the skillet with about five small ladles of boiling water and cook them in the sauce, adding as many ladles of boiling water as needed to reach the desired doneness.
Adjust with salt if necessary, but be careful as the anchovies are very salty.
Once cooked (it will take about 10-15 minutes), you’ll see a creamy and tasty sauce formed at the bottom, thanks to the starch released by the pasta. Serve the hot linguine immediately.
