Zucchini and Smoked Cheese Pie, an easy and quick recipe with a tasty, gooey filling perfect to serve as an appetizer or a light main course.
It is a very versatile preparation; you can replace the salami with speck and instead of smoked cheese, use provolone or even gorgonzola for a stronger taste.
I also recommend trying the invisible zucchini pie and the 7 jar zucchini pie, two equally delicious recipes.
The zucchini and smoked cheese pie has a unique flavor, it can be prepared in just 5 minutes and you can cook it either in the oven or in an air fryer. If you try it, let me know. I am sure it will become one of your favorite recipes with zucchini.

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast for savory preparations
- 3.5 oz salami (spicy salami)
- 3.5 oz smoked cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- to taste salt
How to make zucchini and smoked cheese pie
Trim the zucchini, then grate them with a large-hole grater and set aside.
In a bowl, place the eggs, pour in the oil and milk, and simply mix the ingredients with a hand whisk.
Incorporate the flour and yeast, then add the grated Parmesan, the salami, and the smoked cheese cut into pieces.
Mix well, finally add the well-drained zucchini to the batter.
Pour everything into a 9-inch round pan lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven at 350°F for about 40-45 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack, then slice and serve.
Storage of the zucchini and smoked cheese pie
You can store it under a cake dome until the next day. You can also freeze it already portioned. Along with the salami, you can add some cooked ham and omit the smoked cheese if you don’t like it.
