Ingredients

  • 5.6 tbsp butter
  • 5 oz 55% dark chocolate
  • 1.8 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3.2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • to taste unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Half vial vanilla flavor
  • salt (a pinch)

Steps

To prepare the chocolate fondant in air fryer with a soft heart, the first step is to roughly chop the dark chocolate with a knife.

Proceed with the bain-marie cooking method, place a pot of water on the stove and a second pot on top to add the chocolate. Add the butter once the chocolate is completely melted. When everything is well blended, let it cool slightly.

After the chocolate has cooled, add the sugar, eggs, yolk, and half the vial of vanilla flavor, and mix with a hand whisk until smooth.

Finally, add the previously sifted flour and mix with a hand whisk until you get a smooth mixture.

Take the aluminum molds, butter them, and dust with unsweetened cocoa powder. Fill them with 3/4 of the mixture. Place the molds in the air fryer basket and cook at 356°F for 8-9 minutes.

Once cooked, unmold the chocolate fondant onto a plate and dust with powdered sugar. Serve immediately, the fondant should be enjoyed warm.

Storage

The chocolate fondant in air fryer with a soft heart can be stored raw in the refrigerator for up to one day covered with plastic wrap. If stored in the refrigerator, cooking time should be increased by a few minutes. You can also decide to freeze the raw fondants and when you decide to eat them, bake them still frozen, cooking for 5-6 minutes more.
