  • 1.1 lbs shrimp (frozen is fine too)
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • to taste milk

Steps for Appetizer: Shrimp in Puff Pastry

  • Wash the shrimp well and shell them, leaving only the tail. Frozen ones will work just fine.
    Simply clean them by removing the black vein with a toothpick or a small knife and let them thaw well.
    Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into strips. Wrap each shrimp one by one, leaving the tail out for a more scenic and professional effect. This part will take a bit, but slowly and patiently, we will cover them all.
    Arrange all the shrimp on a baking tray covered with parchment paper and brush them with a bit of milk. This will help them take on color during cooking.
    Bake in a preheated ventilated oven for about 20 minutes at 392 degrees Fahrenheit, or until they are golden brown.
