Ingredients for Persimmon and Cocoa Pudding without Sugar
- 2 persimmons (well ripe)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (level)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 pinch cinnamon powder (optional)
- 3 amaretti (crushed)
Tools
- 1 Hand Blender
- 2 Small Bowls for pudding
How to Make Persimmon and Cocoa Pudding without Sugar
Remove the stem from the persimmons, cut them in half and scoop out the pulp, place it in the hand blender’s cup.
Add the unsweetened cocoa, honey, and if you like, cinnamon powder, and blend until smooth and homogeneous.
Place the persimmon and cocoa pudding in small bowls and let it rest in the fridge for at least 6 hours to set.
Before serving, you can invert it onto dessert plates and decorate it with crushed amaretti.
How to store persimmon and cocoa pudding
It keeps in the fridge for 2 days.
If you don’t like cinnamon, you can omit it.
You can replace the amaretti with dark chocolate flakes.
