  • 7 oz ricotta
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste salt
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
  • 3.5 oz brie
  • 3.5 oz speck
  • 3 walnuts
  • to taste honey

How to Make Puff Pastry Boats

  • In a bowl, place the ricotta and season it with salt, pepper, a drizzle of oil, mix and set aside.

  • Take a sheet of puff pastry, roll it out and cut it in half.

  • Stuff the edges with the ricotta, roll up the edges of each rectangle created, creating a small cord on the longer sides of the same.

  • Prick with a fork. Continue pinching the ends of the short sides, forming a point that resembles the stern and bow of a boat.

  • Fill the inside of each boat with cheese, then bake in a preheated oven at 375°F with the fan mode for about 15 minutes.

  • As a final step, remove from oven and top with speck, walnut kernels and a drizzle of honey if you like.
