Ingredients
- 4 slices veal slices
- 1 cup peeled cherry tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- as needed salt
- as needed dried oregano
- 1 clove garlic
How to cook baked meat with pizza sauce
Take a spacious Pyrex dish, put the extra virgin olive oil at the base, along with a clove of garlic.
Add the meat slices and season with some salt on the surface.
Cover all the meat with cherry tomato sauce, add a little more salt, oregano, and a nice sprinkling of parmesan.
As the last step, just cook in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 25 minutes.
Storage and tips on baked meat with pizza sauce
The baked meat with pizza sauce can be stored in the refrigerator until the next day, if covered with a lid or food wrap. I do not recommend freezing, because the cherry tomato sauce will not have the same quality. You can also use other types of meat, such as beef or chicken breast. For an extra touch of flavor, you can add capers, olives, or add thin slices of mozzarella or provola at the end of cooking.
