Puff Pastry Croissants with Nutella and Pistachio

Ingredients for Mini Puff Pastry Croissants with Nutella and Pistachio

  • 1 package puff pastry (round)
  • as needed Nutella®
  • as needed pistachio cream
  • as needed chopped hazelnuts (or almonds)
  • as needed chopped pistachios

Procedure for Mini Puff Pastry Croissants with Nutella and Pistachio

  • Roll out the puff pastry disk and divide it in half, using a knife or cookie cutter wheel. Spread Nutella on one side and pistachio cream on the other.

  • Sprinkle chopped almonds (or hazelnuts) on the Nutella side, and chopped pistachios on the pistachio cream side.

    Then cut into 16 wedges.

  • Roll the wedges on themselves from the outside inwards to form small croissants, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

    Brush them with a little water and a pinch of sugar.
    Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes

Tips

These small puff pastry croissants are not suitable for freezing, so I recommend consuming them. You can store them for up to a day in an airtight container, but they might lose some of their crispness.
Before serving, you can dust them with some powdered sugar.
