Ingredients for Mini Puff Pastry Croissants with Nutella and Pistachio
- 1 package puff pastry (round)
- as needed Nutella®
- as needed pistachio cream
- as needed chopped hazelnuts (or almonds)
- as needed chopped pistachios
Procedure for Mini Puff Pastry Croissants with Nutella and Pistachio
Roll out the puff pastry disk and divide it in half, using a knife or cookie cutter wheel. Spread Nutella on one side and pistachio cream on the other.
Sprinkle chopped almonds (or hazelnuts) on the Nutella side, and chopped pistachios on the pistachio cream side.
Then cut into 16 wedges.
Roll the wedges on themselves from the outside inwards to form small croissants, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush them with a little water and a pinch of sugar.
Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes
Tips
These small puff pastry croissants are not suitable for freezing, so I recommend consuming them. You can store them for up to a day in an airtight container, but they might lose some of their crispness.
Before serving, you can dust them with some powdered sugar.
