Stewed Cabbage with Thermomix.
Today, I prepared this delicious and healthy side dish with my Thermomix.
Cabbages are valuable foods for their nutrients: potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, folic acid, vitamin C.
They also contain anti-cancer, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant active ingredients.
They are purifying, contain many minerals, promote tissue regeneration, and are also very suitable for those with diabetes.

- 1 cup yellow onion
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 5 cups cabbage
- Half teaspoon salt
- to taste pepper
- 2 tbsps water

Preparation of Stewed Cabbage with Thermomix
Wash the cabbage and remove the most damaged outer leaves.
Take the amount you need and remove the thicker ribs that you could use for a minestrone.
Slice it thinly.
Peel 100 g of onion, and
And chop it rather coarsely.
Place the onion in the bowl and chop for 5 sec at speed 5, then scrape with the spatula and add the EVO oil.
Sauté for 3 min at 250°F speed 1.
Pour the wine and let it evaporate without the measuring cup for 2 min at 250°F speed 1.
Open the bowl and add the thinly sliced cabbage, half a teaspoon of salt, and if you like, a grind of pepper.
Close the bowl and cook for 25 min, at 212°F speed 1.
At the end of cooking, leave the cabbage inside the bowl for at least 15 minutes or more
