The baguettes stuffed with meat and mozzarella are tasty and easy to prepare, just a few minutes to cook the minced meat in a pan, stuff the baguettes and bake them to make a crust and melt the mozzarella, and you’ll have a delicious appetizer or a main course everyone will love, including kids.
The baguettes stuffed with meat and mozzarella are also delicious at room temperature, sure, they won’t be melty, but rest assured they will still be liked. You can use your favorite spices to season the meat; I usually use paprika, which I forgot this time, but they were still very tasty.

Preparation of baguette stuffed with meat and mozzarella
To prepare the baguette stuffed with meat and mozzarella, first cook the minced meat in a pan with the onion, carrot, and celery sauté for 10 minutes.
I didn’t add oil because the meat was already fatty, but if yours is lean, you can add 1 tablespoon of oil. Keep the meat rather moist, not dry, and set aside.
Season the tomato puree with salt, pepper, oregano, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and slice the mozzarella first into slices and then into pieces.
Cut the tops off the baguettes and hollow them out.
Add a few tablespoons of tomato puree to the minced meat and mix.
Stuff the hollowed-out baguettes with the ground meat, pressing well to compact it.
Cover with plenty of tomato puree and mozzarella.
Drizzle the baguettes stuffed with meat and mozzarella with a bit of extra virgin olive oil and dried oregano.
If you want, you can grate more mozzarella on top or cut it into pieces.
Bake the stuffed baguettes in a preheated oven at 350°F in static mode for 15 minutes or until the mozzarella has melted and the bread has become crispy.
Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
