- Half tbsp dried oregano
- to taste extra virgin olive oil

- to taste pepper
Tools
- 1 Pan
- 1 Lid

Steps
First, clean the green beans by removing the two ends, then rinse them well.
Peel and chop the onion.
Also peel the garlic clove, remove the inner core, and chop it.
Rinse the cherry tomatoes and cut them into 2 or 4 parts.
Cut the peeled tomatoes into large chunks.
Put a generous drizzle of oil in a large pan, add the chopped onion and garlic, chopped chili pepper, and a good grind of pepper, let the onion stew very lightly over very low heat, then add the crushed peeled tomatoes with their juice and a ladle of water, cover with a lid, and start cooking just until it reaches a boil.
Salt.
At this point, add the green beans spreading them over the tomato and the entire surface of the pan.
Bring back to a boil, cover with a lid, and cook for 20 minutes over very low heat.
Stir the green beans and add the cherry tomatoes cut into 2 or 4 parts prepared earlier.
Cover again with the lid and continue cooking for another 20 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
At this point, check the cooking of the green beans, and if they are cooked, remove the lid, add the torn basil and oregano, and let the cooking juice dry.
Check the salt.
As soon as the sauce is nice and thick, the stewed green beans are ready to be enjoyed…
They are excellent even cold or warm.
