Cloud marble cake with cocoa.
Simple, very soft, delicious.
The cloud marble cake with cocoa is a very simple pantry cake to prepare, fragrant, very soft, and delicious. A quick dessert that you mix with electric whisks in 5 minutes and then straight into the oven, baking time and you will have one of the softest and most delicious marble cakes you’ve ever tried before 🙂

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs (at room temperature)
- 1.6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.2 cups potato starch
- 0.6 cup yogurt (at room temperature)
- 3/4 cup corn oil
- 1 cup sugar (use 0.6 cups for a less sweet version)
- Half tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 0.6 oz baking powder
- 0.5 oz unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons water (or milk)
- to taste powdered sugar

- 1 Bowl
- 1 Sieve
- 1 Spatula

Steps
Preheat the oven to 340°F static and butter a 9.5-inch bundt pan.
With electric whisks, beat the eggs with sugar and a pinch of salt until you get a frothy mixture; you can also use a stand mixer.
While whisking, add the oil, vanilla extract, then the yogurt.
Sift the flour with the potato starch and baking powder and add it to the egg mixture by hand with a spatula.
Once the batter is homogeneous, pour 2/3 of it into the buttered pan.
Add the sifted cocoa and 3 tablespoons of water (or milk) to the remaining batter, mix with a spatula until combined.
Now pour the cocoa batter over the white one and with a skewer or fork, create swirls to marble the two batters.
Bake at 340°F for about 45 minutes, check with a toothpick (if it’s cooked, it should come out dry; otherwise, continue baking for a few more minutes).
Let the cake cool, place it on a tray, and if you like, dust with powdered sugar.
Butter a 9.5-inch bundt pan.
Preheat the oven to 340°F static.
Put the butterfly in the Thermomix bowl.
Separate the yolks from the whites.
Put the egg whites with a pinch of salt in the bowl 3 minutes/Speed 4.
Set them aside in a bowl.
Put the yolks in the bowl with the sugar and mix 2 minutes/Speed 4.
Remove the butterfly and add flour, potato starch, oil, vanilla extract, and yogurt 50 Sec./Speed 3.
Spatula and add baking powder 20 Sec./Speed 3.
Turn off the Thermomix and add the egg whites a little at a time, folding them in with a spatula from bottom to top.
Once the batter is homogeneous, pour 2/3 of it into the buttered pan.
Add the sifted cocoa and 3 tablespoons of water, mix with a spatula until combined.
Now pour the cocoa batter over the white one and with a skewer or fork, create swirls to marble the two batters.
Bake at 340°F for about 45 minutes, check with a toothpick (if it’s cooked, it should come out dry; otherwise, continue baking for a few more minutes).
Let the cake cool, place it on a tray, and if you like, dust with powdered sugar.
