Procedure
In this recipe, we’ll see a basic preparation to have simple noodles with vegetables. If you want a more oriental flavor, follow the suggestions to customize the recipe.
First, focus on cleaning and cutting the vegetables. After washing them, cut them into cubes or matchsticks.
Cook the noodles in a pot with plenty of water, the cooking time varies depending on the product. Follow the instructions on the package; usually, rice noodles cook in 6-12 minutes.
Put the pan on the heat and add a drizzle of oil. When the oil is hot, quickly stir-fry the vegetables for a couple of minutes.
For a crunchy and oriental note, you can also add cashews, almonds, or peanuts.
When the noodles are cooked, drain them and add them to the vegetables in the pan. Cook for a couple more minutes to blend flavors.
Some noodle recipes use soy sauce instead of salt to flavor the vegetables. For a more oriental touch, you can add grated ginger, sliced garlic, and a pinch of chili.
Once cooking is complete, simply remove from the heat and serve hot.
Your noodles with vegetables are ready!
Plating tips:
I recommend presenting this dish simply by creating a nest of noodles and completing the plate with the vegetables. For an oriental touch, you can serve it with chopsticks.
Wine pairing for noodles with vegetables:
This recipe pairs very well with a dry white wine or a double malt beer.
