Ingredients for 2 people
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 0.55 lbs chicken breast
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
Tools
- 1 Knife
- 1 Cutting board
- 1 Pan
Method
The chicken strips with peppers in a pan are prepared quickly in a pan and cooked white unlike the classic peperonata, here is the recipe to prepare them.
First, take a chicken breast half and with the help of a knife cut it into thin slices (about 0.39 inches) and then into strips 3-4 inches long.
Now it’s time to think about the peppers, which will also need to be cut into strips like the chicken breast.
For a quick cut, I recommend placing the pepper upright and cutting the side slices, then the strips as shown in the video.
Now place a clove of garlic in its skin with a drizzle of oil in a pan and place over medium heat. When the garlic has flavored the oil, it’s time to sauté the peppers.
Cook the peppers for 10 minutes, and when they are well cooked, add the chicken strips. Cook for another 10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked; if necessary, add half a glass of water.
Your chicken strips with peppers in a pan are ready!
Plating Tips:
Present the dish simply, in a pot or cocotte, as it is delicious both hot and cold.
Wine Pairing for Chicken Strips:
I recommend serving this dish with a fresh and aromatic white wine, such as a Gavi or an Asti Docg.
