When preparing the sauce, you can replace the garlic with a few pinches of garlic powder.
If you want a lighter side dish, you can skip dressing the salad with oil. I assure you that even with just the sauce, the salad will be very tasty.
The potato and cucumber salad should be served immediately; it’s not recommended to store it in any form.
If you have leftover yogurt sauce, you can store it in the refrigerator, sealed in a glass jar, for 2–3 days.
