- 1 red Tropea onion
- 5.3 oz bacon
- 2 pinches salt
- 2 pinches pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

How to prepare sautéed snap peas with bacon
Prepare the sautéed snap peas with bacon by washing the snap peas very well, then cut off the ends and remove the string.
If they are too long, you can also cut them in half.
Boil them in water for 8 minutes, then drain them.
Meanwhile, slice the onion and stew it in a pan with the oil until it becomes translucent, then add the diced bacon.
Once the bacon is also browned, add the snap peas, salt them, and let them season for a few minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon.
Add a few tablespoons of cooking water and finish cooking the flat beans with bacon in the pan until they are tender.
Season with a generous handful of freshly ground black pepper and serve the sautéed snap peas with bacon hot.
