How to prepare the stuffed puff pastry with ham, cheese, and eggplants
Prepare the stuffed puff pastry with ham, cheese, and eggplants starting with the eggplants by trimming and slicing them thinly and then grilling on a cast iron grill.
A few minutes will suffice, then place them on a plate and set aside.
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Unroll the puff pastry, keeping it with its parchment paper, then cover the surface with sliced cooked ham, cover with slices of cheese to cover the entire surface, and then place the eggplant slices on top.
Fold the puff pastry towards the center from both wide sides to form a log but without rolling.
Seal the edges and close them, ensuring the filling does not escape, and make slits on the surface to allow steam to escape.
Brush with the beaten egg and then sprinkle with poppy seeds, place the roll on a baking tray and bake in the center for at least 30 minutes.
Check the level of browning of the ham, cheese, and eggplant roll, and if you see it starting to darken, cover it with parchment paper.
Once cooked, remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes before slicing, serve, and…

How to store the stuffed puff pastry with ham, cheese, and eggplants
