Ingredients for the chocolate brownies recipe

  • 3 eggs (large)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3.5 oz 70% dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Tools

  • 1 Baking pan rectangular 6 x 9 inches
  • 1 Electric whisk
  • 1 Bowl glass
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Sieve

How to prepare chocolate brownies

  • To prepare the chocolate brownies, first coarsely chop the chocolate and place it in a glass bowl with the butter in pieces.

  • Melt it in a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring occasionally.

Once the chocolate is melted, add the instant coffee and unsweetened cocoa powder to the bowl and mix well.

  • Whisk the mixture with an electric whisk, adding the sugar along with the salt and vanilla extract. If you can’t find it, you can use vanilla powder.

  • When all the sugar is incorporated, add 1 egg at a time, still whisking.

  • Now sift the flour and fold it in stages, using the spatula with gentle movements from bottom to top so as not to deflate the mixture.

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F, line a 9-inch rectangular baking pan with parchment paper, and pour in the mixture.

Level it on the surface and bake.

  • Bake the chocolate brownies for 30 minutes, or until a crust forms on the surface. The inside should still be soft, so slightly moist.

  • Remove from the oven, let cool before removing from the mold, and cut into squares.
