Ingredients for Oven Roasted Spiced Cauliflower: Simple Recipe

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 3 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons sweet paprika (or spicy according to taste)

  • To prepare the oven roasted spiced cauliflower, first remove the outer leaves of the cauliflower and the end of the hard stem.

  • Now place it on the cutting board with the stem facing down nice and straight, and cut it into slices about 0.4 inches (1 cm) thick.

    You’ll see that in the first slices the pieces will fall off, but the thicker ones towards the center will stay intact like the ones you see in the picture.

  • Mix all the spices and the extra virgin olive oil in a bowl, then line a rectangular baking tray with parchment paper and arrange all the cauliflower slices without overlapping them.

    Preheat the oven to 428°F (220°C).

  • Now you can season the oven roasted spiced cauliflower with the previously prepared mixture, then use a kitchen brush to distribute the seasoning on each cauliflower slice.

    Bake on the lowest shelf of the oven and cook for at least 20 minutes.

  • Check the cooking because each oven cooks differently, so when the oven-roasted spiced cauliflower is tender and slightly golden on the surface, you can take it out.

Storage
