The baked pumpkin with feta is a very simple and tasty dish, to be served as an appetizer or a complete main course. For this recipe, I used the Delica variety of pumpkin, ideal for all sweet and savory preparations. It is baked in the oven and then feta, a typical Greek cheese made from sheep or sheep and goat milk, is added. The salty taste of the cheese perfectly complements the sweet pumpkin. To flavor the dish, I decided to add some fresh thyme.

Then cut the pumpkin into slices and further into pieces, and place them in a baking dish.
Season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, and mix well.
Place it in a baking dish and bake the pumpkin in a preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) for 30 minutes in fan mode.
Once the pumpkin is cooked, remove from the oven, place the feta in the center of the baking dish, and bake again for another 10 minutes at 356°F (180°C) in fan mode.
Serve the baked pumpkin with feta hot, adding a little more thyme if desired.
