Mediterranean Baked Feta

The Mediterranean feta is a quick, easy, and tasty dish. It can be prepared in just a few minutes, only requiring time to prepare cherry tomatoes and add the other ingredients, such as black or Greek olives (Kalamon, Kalamata olives), capers, oregano, basil, and extra virgin olive oil. To be served as both an appetizer and a main course.

  • 7 oz feta
  • 3.5 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 0.7 oz black olives (or Greek, pitted)
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste pickled capers
  • to taste dried oregano (or fresh)
  • to taste basil (dried or fresh)
  • to taste black pepper

Steps

To prepare the Mediterranean baked feta…

  • Place the drained feta in a baking dish.

  • Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half or quarters and arrange them around the feta.

  • Add the black or Greek olives (pitted), well-drained pickled capers, oregano, and basil, then season with extra virgin olive oil and pepper.

  • Bake the feta in a preheated oven at 350°F and cook for 20 minutes using the fan-assisted setting. Serve the Mediterranean baked feta hot.
