- 2 Hard-boiled eggs
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp Tomato sauce

Preparation of peas with tuna
To prepare peas with tuna and hard-boiled eggs, if you have fresh peas, proceed to shell them, set aside the pods, which you can use to make, for example, vegetable broth. Chop the onion into very small pieces. Cook the eggs for 8 minutes and let them cool in cold water.
In a large pan, heat the olive oil for a few moments, add the onion, and let it sauté for a few minutes without burning it.
Add the peas and mix with the onion to flavor, after a few minutes add the tomato sauce, salt, lower the heat, cover the pan, and let it cook for 10 minutes.
If using frozen peas, the cooking time will be shorter. Once the peas are cooked, add the drained and chunked tuna to the pan.
Turn off the heat, adjust the salt if necessary, peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut them into wedges.
Serve the peas with tuna on plates, adding the egg wedges just before serving, and… ENJOY YOUR MEAL
Notes
The peas with tuna can be stored in the fridge for 2 days. You can freeze them without the hard-boiled eggs. To your peas with tuna you can add parsley or dried oregano. HERE and also HERE you’ll find other recipes with PEAS. If you want to see other types of recipes GO BACK TO HOME
