The chocolate desert roses are easy and delicious treats, no baking required, I made them today thinking of my husband who loves sweets after dinner, and obviously, if I make them, they are lighter than those he usually makes. He loves dark chocolate and makes a delicious chocolate and coffee cake.
With only 2 ingredients in just over 10 minutes, you will have treats to munch on while watching TV, comfortably seated on the couch, and why not, to offer to guests, perhaps with a good coffee.
But now, enough chatter, let’s find out right below the photo how to prepare the Chocolate Desert Roses, but first, take a look below at other tasty recipes always with chocolate!!

Ingredients for Chocolate Desert Roses
- 3.5 oz 70% dark chocolate
- 2.1 cups corn flakes
Tools
- Parchment paper
- 2 Spoons
- Spatulas
- 1 Bowl glass
Preparation
Preparing the desert roses is really a piece of cake, a few minutes and very few steps for a super good dessert both at snack time and throughout the day to munch on whenever we feel like it.
Begin by breaking the chocolate into pieces and placing it in a microwave-safe bowl, melt it for 30 seconds, then mix with a spatula until all the pieces are melted.
Add the corn flakes immediately after and quickly mix to incorporate everything, using 2 spoons to help you.
Take a sheet of parchment paper and, using a spoon, form the desert roses by placing heaps of corn flakes and chocolate on the parchment paper.
Let them rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to solidify, and your desert roses are ready to eat.
Chocolate Desert Roses Variations
If you want, you can also melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, just place a pot with a little water and place the bowl with the chocolate on top, be careful that the water does not come into contact with the chocolate, melt by stirring with a wooden spoon.

How to store the desert roses?
You can store them inside a tin box (in winter) or in an airtight container in the refrigerator for several days.
How to serve them to guests?
If you have guests and want to make a good impression, arrange the desert roses in paper or silicone cups.
You can also make them directly in the cups without needing to use parchment paper, so they take shape without flattening, and you don’t have to worry about arranging the corn flakes that detach while forming them.
