- 1 onion
- to taste lime juice
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Guacamole Sauce Preparation
Start preparing the Guacamole Sauce by using ripe avocados at least 2 days old. Cut them in half and twist to remove the pit.
Extract the pulp and mash it very well with a fork until it’s slightly chunky, adding the lime juice.
Finely chop the onion along with the chili pepper and add them to the mashed avocados.
Salt and pepper it, adding a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, adjusting the salt after tasting.
Tips and Variations for Guacamole Sauce
The guacamole sauce easy recipe should be eaten immediately after preparation. If you have leftovers, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to one day, covered with plastic wrap in direct contact with the sauce to prevent the avocado from browning, which would spoil its taste.
A modern variant includes the addition of 1 finely chopped seedless tomato.
