Today I want to tell you how I prepared Chicken with mushrooms, a perfect combination of aromas and flavors. For this recipe, I chose pleurotus mushrooms, but also champignons or mixed mushrooms are fine. For extra creaminess, I added fresh cream to the dish, but cooking cream or fresh spreadable cheese work too. Creamy, tender, and so very good! Ingredients for Chicken with mushrooms
- 14 oz chicken breast
- 14 oz pleurotus mushrooms
- 1 clove garlic
- 7 tbsp fresh liquid cream
- 1 oz flour
- 1 bunch parsley
- to taste salt
- 1 pinch pepper
How to prepare Chicken Bites with mushrooms
Clean the mushrooms by removing the earthy end. Rinse them quickly under running water or simply wipe them with paper towels. Cut them into pieces.
Pour 2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, a clove of garlic, and the mushrooms into a pan. Add a pinch of salt and cook the mushrooms over medium heat for 7-8 minutes, stirring them often with a wooden spoon. At the end of cooking, remove the garlic clove and transfer the mushrooms to a plate.
Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and flour them in a bowl. Pour 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil into the same pan where you cooked the mushrooms. Heat and add the chicken. Let it cook over medium heat on all sides for 4-5 minutes, turning it with a wooden spoon.
When the chicken is well browned on all sides, add the mushrooms you previously cooked to the pan. Stir and pour in the fresh cream or cooking cream. Season with salt and pepper and add the chopped parsley. Let it flavor for 1-2 minutes and serve
