Ingredients for Baked Fennel
- 2 fennel
- 0.5 cup fine cornmeal
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 0.5 cup milk
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
How to prepare Fennel with corn flour
Clean the fennel by removing the outer parts, stems, and the hardest base. Wash them under running water. Cut them into thin slices. Pour the milk into a bowl and in another bowl mix the grated Parmesan cheese and the corn flour.
Dip the fennel slices in the milk and then coat them with corn flour on all sides. Arrange the fennel slices in a large baking dish lined with parchment paper as you prepare them.
Add a little salt on top and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Bake the Fennel in a static oven at 375°F for 20 minutes.
