Baked Cuttlefish Ingredients
- 8 cuttlefish (about 1.1 lbs)
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 200 g zucchini
- 80 g breadcrumbs
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1 clove garlic
- to taste salt
How to Prepare Baked Cuttlefish
To prepare these Skewers with Cuttlefish and Zucchini, you can use either fresh or frozen cuttlefish. Clean the cuttlefish and rinse them. Preheat the oven to 392°F. Wash the zucchini, trim the ends, and cut them into slices 0.4 inches thick. Also wash the cherry tomatoes.
Arrange the ingredients alternately on a skewer. On each wooden skewer, I placed one cuttlefish, one slice of zucchini, and one cherry tomato, then repeated the sequence. Prepare all 8 skewers in the same way. Mix the breadcrumbs with chopped parsley and finely chopped garlic in a plate.
Brush the skewers with some extra virgin olive oil and then dip them into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it adheres well on all sides. Preheat the oven to 392°F. Arrange the Skewers with Cuttlefish in a greased or parchment-lined baking tray. Sprinkle with salt and lightly oil the surface. Bake in the hot oven in static mode for 20 minutes.

If you prefer, you can also cook the Skewers in a Pan: add a drizzle of oil to a non-stick pan, heat it, and cook the skewers at medium flame, turning them on all sides
