How to make the Soft Orange Bundt Cake

  • Wash the oranges, grate the zest of one orange and set it aside. Squeeze the juice from the two oranges. For this cake, you need 1/2 cup of orange juice. Beat the two whole eggs with the sugar for at least 10 minutes until you have a light and fluffy mixture.

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Add the plain yogurt, grated orange zest, and the filtered orange juice (only 1/2 cup) to the beaten eggs.

  • Also add the vegetable oil to the batter and finally the flour sifted with the baking powder. Mix well.

  • Oil and flour a 9-inch bundt pan, shaking off the excess flour. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake the Soft Orange Bundt Cake in the hot static oven for about 35-40 minutes.

  • Always do the toothpick test to check that the cake is cooked inside. Let the Bundt Cake cool before turning it onto a serving plate, and then dust it with powdered sugar if desired.
