- 1 package puff pastry (rectangular 8.8 oz)
- 8 tablespoons Nutella®
- 1 egg (For brushing)
- to taste powdered sugar
Tools
- Baking Parchment
- Baking Dish
Steps
Gently unroll the puff pastry without removing the parchment paper underneath, which can be used for baking, and prick it with a fork.
Cut 4 rectangles from the pastry without tearing the paper; otherwise, place another sheet in the baking dish.
On half of each rectangle, place two tablespoons of quality Nutella. Make cuts on the other half and cover the side with Nutella as shown in the picture.
Press around with a fork to seal the pastry so that the Nutella doesn’t come out and
arrange the pastries on the baking dish without removing the paper. Brush the four rectangles with beaten egg on top.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 392°F for about twenty minutes. Remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar when they are warm.
Enjoy the delicious Nutella puff pastries for breakfast or snack, and whenever it pleases you, perhaps with a good coffee or tea and what a fragrance… I won’t tell you, you tell me after. 🙂
