Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • as needed Nutella®

How to Make Nutella Ecstasy Cake

  • Start by placing the dry ingredients in a bowl: cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and sugar. Mix well with a whisk.

  • Add the eggs, and while mixing, add the oil and then the yogurt.

  • Mix well to combine everything.

  • Pour into a 8-inch pan, greased and floured or lined with parchment paper.

  • Add the Nutella using two spoons, then bake in the oven at 340°F for about 35-40 minutes. Always do the toothpick test (obviously where you didn’t put the Nutella). If it browns too much on the surface, cover with a sheet of aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes and continue baking.

  • Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing.

Storage of Nutella Ecstasy Cake

The ecstasy cake keeps well for up to 2 days under a cake cover. It can be frozen.
