- 9.35 oz Puff Pastry (Equivalent to two packages)
- 3.53 oz Cooked Ham (Sliced)
- 3.53 oz Black Olives
- as needed Grana Padano (Grated)
- as needed Oregano
- Zucchini (One)

Preparation
Grill the zucchini slices lengthwise on a flame (using a grill pan). Season with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, salt, and a few drops of lemon juice.
Roll out the puff pastry (even if using pre-rolled to make it thinner) without removing the paper. Fill with cheese, oregano, oil, one with slices of cooked ham aligned, the other similarly with chopped black olives.
Divide the puff pastry into strips of about 1.5 inches and roll the breadsticks keeping the ham and olive filling inside.
Arrange the breadsticks on the baking sheet lined with paper and brush them with the beaten egg to give a more attractive appearance at the end.
Bake the puff pastry breadsticks in the oven set at 482°F (250°C) for about twenty minutes and when they have cooled, roll the zucchini around the tip.
The crisp puff pastry breadsticks are also ideal for offering on occasions when organizing buffets and finger food tables. They will also be appreciated as an appetizer for a family meal.

Tip for the puff pastry breadsticks recipe: Rolling the breadsticks at first presents some challenges but after the first few it will become simpler. I find it helpful to start from one end and then the other. Everyone will find their method. 🙂 The important thing is to get there one way or another.
