The beverage mint green tea is refreshing and purifying, prepared cold without boiling the water, to quench your thirst during the summer season and for breaks. I learned this method from a television show several years ago, and now I often prepare it this way. As you well know, especially in summer with the great heat, we drink a lot, and the supply of drinks is never enough. Sometimes we forget to buy them or we can’t, but I think we all have tea bags in our pantry, indeed we have them for all tastes. Since I was told that green tea helps flatten the stomach and deflate, my supplies are never lacking. The aroma of fresh mint was a brilliant idea. I find it pleasant to refresh myself with this drink several times during the day. I prepare it in abundance so I can also offer it to guests who usually appreciate it.

Fill the pitcher with one quart of still water. Immerse the three tea bags, leaving the tags hanging outside.
Add the mint leaves. Close the pitcher with a lid or a plate and store in the refrigerator.
Leave to infuse for about nine hours and the next day add sugar and pour in the lemon juice.
The mint green tea beverage, which is normally prepared with hot water, I must say that I find it even more pleasant when prepared cold. It is economical compared to buying it in supermarkets as only two or three bags are enough for a quart of water, and it is easy to make. Just prepare it in advance.
